  • Shooting the short range of the Natives' Champs in Aussie on Saturday, assuming that my paperwork comes through.
  • Paperwork sorted (more or less) so I'm going to Aussie. Bring it.
  • No cardio so far this week owing to a miserable head cold.
  • Great week for visualisation. Time difference gave me an extra hour or two in bed in the mornings, so I'd do a bit extra each day.
  • Shot very well in the Natives 105.13 for Queen's I.

  • Tib post is more or less better but now it feels like I have insertional Achilles tendinopathy. Bugger.
  • No livefire this weekend owing to the dire weather :-(
  • Interestingly my max HR is 198 as measured using a direct-contact electrical HR monitor on the bike at the gym rather than 195 as measured running about 18 months ago using a wrist HR monitor.
  • Really good SCATT session on Tuesday evening; although something weird happened during the final string. Halfway through, the point of aim shifted from the bullseye to the 7 ring on the right hand side of the target.

Notes:
  • Interesting session on Monday playing with illumination and piezo sensitivity, as I kept getting occasional flung shots which felt quite good, which is very often a sign of interference.
  • Slightly odd session on Tuesday evening. First shoot not very good, then the SCATT lost connectivity. Second session much better.
  • Back to commuting by train, which always makes finding time to do visualisation easier.
  • Finally got off my arse and started doing some decent PT. Just bodyweight exercises and stretching for now.
